In making the announcement on Tuesday (April 12), Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, who is also TARC Education Foundation Board of Trustees chairman, said the achievement was the culmination of the hard work and excellent track record of the institution.
“In the last 53 years, this institution has grown to be widely acknowledged and recognised for its excellent education and training, especially in the areas of management and technology. Building on this solid foundation, TAR UMT is poised for a bigger role not only in Malaysia but also beyond the borders,” he told reporters at the announcement ceremony here.
