I do agree with Sir Ed when he mentioned that this pandemic give rise to more jobs which indeed amazed so many by reason of this online and electronic selling and buying. We conducted a research where we find out that the industries that really shines this pandemic are those in the marketing, advertising, production, etc. Moreover, I am a Practicum Coordinator and despite the pandemic, our university (Our Lady of Fatima University) able to provide a very engaging, strong and sustainable practicum training program to all our interns. In fact, we are happy that there are lot of Industry partners that we have entered into a Memorandum of Agreement to became our Academic Partners to provide not only the required trainings and learnings (skills /knowledge) to our students but likewise employment opportunities.

Yes I do agree with Sir Ed. With or without the pandemic, I believe that academic partnerships with Industries would really contribute much on the higher employability rate of the student interns considering that the students are trained and expose to real time business environment while they are at the same time applying the knowledge, skills and other learnings that they obtained from the universities. In our University, we always have high employability rate 85% - 89%.
