Today, we celebrate Maria Callas on what would have been her 97th birthday to honor her friendship with Il Maestro Franco Zeffirelli. 🥳
In 1958, the Italian opera “La Traviata” was staged by Franco Zeffirelli at the Civic Opera House in Dallas, Texas. The production, interpreted by the divine soprano singer Maria Callas, was so powerful that it marked a turning point in Zeffirelli’s artistic career! The second photo we are sharing today portrays the artist right in those Dallas days.
